Amalco is known for making complex hydroformed parts that other shops won't even quote. To get a sense of our capabilities, browse through the gallery of hydroformed parts below.
Each of the hydroformed parts shown here was formed from a round metal blank, which was placed on top of a punch within a hydraulic chamber. Pressure was then applied to the blank while the punch was pushed upward to create the desired shape. Since each piece was made from only one piece of metal, the results are seamless and free of cracks. The examples shown here represent a variety of metals and industries, and may include any of Amalco's secondary operations, such as anodizing, piercing, and sharpening.
